I actually just spent last Saturday watching Saturday-morning-cartoons. My first thought was that when I was a young lad in the early 80s, the cartoons were much better and that the children of today are being raised on mind numbing filth.

Then I actually replayed some of the better moments of Thundercats, Gi Joe, and the Transformers, only to realize that those shows also made no sense, shilled toys  that children don’t need, and aside from the cool drawings are about as interesting as a third grade play. Don’t even get me started on the sissy shows like Kissyfur, Gummi Bears, or Rainbow Brite.
